Las Airheads son las motocicletas BMW con un motor flat-twin refrigerado por aire que fueron construidas desde 1923 hasta 1995.
Hace 15 años compré mi segunda moto, una R65LS de segunda mano que vendía un mecánico de mi pueblo. Llevaba unos años con una Yamaha Special 250 y el salto me pareció enorme! Con el tiempo ví que no podía compararse en prestaciones a las motos modernas, sin embargo, hay algo en estas motos que hace que se las quiera.
Llevo toda la vida pintando y sin embargo nunca me había dado por hacer una serie de estas cafeteras que tanto me gustan. Hasta ahora...

15 year ago I bought my second byke, a second hand BMW R65LS that a mechanic from my town was selling. Comparing to my old Yamaha 250 Special it seemed a big leap! Time would tell me it couldn't be compared to the mechanical standards of new bikes, however, there is something in these bikes that makes them to be loved.
Notwithstanding I've been painting all my life I've never given a chance to paint a series of paintings of these coffee pots. Till now...
